Zdravie je súcastou mnohých programov Humana People to People.
V školách je súčasťou vzdelávania. V poľnohospodárstve sa o zdraví hovorí prostredníctvom zvýšenej produkcie, a teda dostupnosti výživnej potravy, v boji proti HIV/AIDS ovplyvňujú stav postihnutých osôb mnohé ďalšie zdravotné otázky – a vo všetkých prípadoch byť chudobný znamená mať biedne zdravie.
TB sa stala veľkou hrozbou pre ľudí v Afrike, zvlášť pre tých, ktorí sú HIV pozitívni. Koexistencia TB a HIV ešte viac komplikuje a zaťažuje imunitný systém HIV pozitívnych ľudí.

India - Water & Sanitation
In villages where only dirty drinking water is available, water tests and water filters are introduced. Sometimes new bore wells are drilled and hand pumps or rope pumps are installed at locations where clean water is available. Sometimes water tanks are constructed to store water during the hours with electricity. In villages with water scarcity, rainwater harvesting and storage tanks for drinking water are introduced. Construction of toilets is promoted where open defecation is still prevalent and is causing pollution of the ground water. Stagnant water in streets and alleys is avoided by construction of household soak-age pits or by establishment of proper drainage systems. The work is done in cooperation with the locally elected Village Councils and with economic support for the villages from the Departments of Rural Development.
Zambia - School WASH and Quality Education Project
Funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the School WASH and Quality Education Project is being run by DAPP in Northern and Muchinga Provinces with support from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Local Government. The first phase of the Project was implemented from March 2009 to March 2012, while the second phase is being run from April 2012 to September 2013. The second phase of the Project will see a total of 950 schools being provided with water and sanitation facilities, reaching over 350,000 pupils. The Project also provides hygiene education to pupils in the target schools.
Total Control of the Epidemic (TCE)Funded by Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this project is being implemented in Southern Province in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health. TCE is a systematic door-to-door HIV/AIDS prevention and care programme which provides HIV/AIDS information as well as counselling, testing and care activities to all individuals in the operational areas through its comprehensive door-to-door approach. It employees local “Field Officers” who each cover an area with 2,000 people. They inform, counsel and test people according to their needs, and refer people for further services such as PMTCT, ART, TB, etc. They mobilize local “Passionates” to take part in the fight against HIV and to assist those infected and affected by the virus. They train support group members, organize TB treatment supporters, carry out networking activities on district and sub-district level. The programme wound up in Mazubuka after 5 years of its implementation and it is now run Monze and expanding to Choma district. Zambia - The Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Program
Funded by WaterAid Zambia, the project is being implemented in Samfya and Monze Districts. It is improving access to sustainable safe water supply, adequate sanitation and hygiene in schools and communities so as to improve the health of families and subsequently contribute to the attainment of water and sanitation MDG target by 2015.
