Teacher at Fighting with The Poor - currently travelling with the team in Asia My name is Alina. I am from Romania and part of the teacher’s council in DRH-Norway from September 2012. I am a former Development Instructor who was part of a Teacher Training project in Chimoio, Mozambique. I have decided to continue working with the school because I want to implement and share my knowledge and experience with other people who are passionate about humanitarian work. I am currently leading the “Fighting with the Poor team March 2013”. For me personally it is a continuous challenge having to deal with people with very different backgrounds and personalities and trying to constantly find solutions in an ever changing environment. I think my social skills and open mind perspective, as well as an emphatic approach help me enjoy my work and overcome the obstacles that appear in this process. I hope my students and my colleagues perceive me as an example and a support and that we all inspire each other to improve ourselves and create a better world. |
